It's not dumbed down enough for me. The first lesson covering the market feels like a rushed overview from a previous course, like this is Stock Exchange 102 when I'm needing an intro course. The first slides throw a lot of new terms and feels disorganized, too wordy, and a lot of filler ("to put simply", "but in reality", and the "if" situations). I'm losing interest because I'm lost and behind. But the interface is easy to use and beginner friendly.
Decided to learn something new. I like the page flipping through the lessons. The quiz after is a good way to test what you have learned (be aware that not all answer selections have been covered). I really enjoy the highlighted vocabulary terms give a detailed definition, background info and examples. Still in the first level and love it so far!
Close to perfect. The app does offer a pretty intuitive program, but I feel like it doesn't actually pay attention to wether or not your learning and retaining the information well. The quizzes let you continue if you fail and same with the learning checks. There's also no implementation or practice of the material. Otherwise it's fantastic.
Downloaded this randomly to see how educational it was. 100% worth it. This app does an amazing job making difficult concepts easy to understand and makes it easy to "save" definitions and concepts for easy reference later. It has a great blend of reading, watching, interactive examples, and quizzes to help you learn and solidify knowledge. Highly recommend!
Love it! The language can sometimes be hard to pick up but they give you a break down of the words right at your finger tips, videos included! I absolutely love the interactive quizzes - which I fail consistently 🤦🏽♀️. I think it would be cool to have a way to go back and be requizzed just to check for understanding. At first I didn't like that my path to learning was already chosen unlike some of the other digital learning apps I use, but as a newbie, it is good to review these basics.
It's a little useless, tbh. It gives you a bare minimum one-sentence description of an event with no historical context and asks you if you think it made the market go up or down. It also gives you a bare bones graph of the market at the point of the event (without an axis to know the timeframe, of course). It doesn't give you a detailed description or context until after you answer, and even then it still misses a lot of details.
Normally I shirk reviews despite the fact I totally rely on them but this is a good app; the information is clearly communicated without being pedantic or in relentless fast forward with horrid music smeared all over it. It's a quality learning experience that's well constructed; details like important vocabulary being highlighted throughout the text allows for a degree of self tailoring--you can sail past what you already know without stopping AND look up that which you do not as many times as you need without having to go back rummaging through wasting time some more because it helps to double check your grasp of new terms and concepts. That's just one of many helpful details but I chose to mention that since I found it particularly convenient. Doubtless everyone interested in this subject will find something different to like about this excellent product so give it a whirl I expect you will be quite content.
This app presents the basics of global markets and exchange to those beginning to navigate the often confusing and overwhelming realm of investing. This app differs from others in it does not bombard the user with a flood of repeated information. Neither does it confuse the user with frivolous details unecessary, even prohibitive, to learning the material. It provides investment basics in an easy to remember format that focuses on pertinent concepts and vocabulary.
Seems like a great app so far. Its free but is so much better than the average free app. It teaches you a lot. Good design and user interface. Would recommend if you want to learn about investing. Good for all ages. Looking forward to learning more. I love when you don't know about something it takes you to a page where you can read more. I saw someone wanted this to change to just a pop up. If possible maybe you could find a way to give the user the option of both and let them decide
Downloaded this app during lockdown because I was bored. Figured might as well learn something about investing. This app blew me away. It makes learning about and how to invest fun and easy. The app runs smoothly the graphics are simple but pleasing to the eye. A feature that i would like is if there was a way to do small investments linked through the app so you can see what you're doing real time. Other than that its a great app specially for beginners like me.
It is hard as a new investor to try to understand the stock market along with all the terms that comes along with it. But this app completely changes the game of learning about it. Whether you're new to investing or have already begun shareholding but still have questions then this is an app that's right for you. It is convenient, very well structured and so easy to understand I gaurentee you'll love it
I love this app so far. It's really easy to use and the explanations are great (coming from someone with 0 knowledge about economic stuffs). I really look forward to using it for a long time. Thanks developer team❤️ If I can request something, i would love to have a widget so i can remember to learn everyday. Another addition would probably to add 'voice' into the learning card, because it would help with the learning (as i am a non-english speaker). But even rn, it's really helpful. Thank you!❤
Great app, really breaks everything down so that it is easily understood. One point or suggestion I have is that when someone taps on a highlighted word and is given an explanation and example of use. It would be good to have an option to choose such as "test me" which could give a short quiz or test to see whether you now understand the term and if you answer a question wrong then a further and simpler example can be given in order for the user to fully understand what is being said.
I'm usually quite poor at leaving reviews but I had to make the effort for this app as it's been unbelievably useful for me as someone new to trading. The language is jargon free (unless they're explaining the jargon), the information is broken down into bite-sized chunks and the user interface is simple and attractive. I only installed this yesterday and have already used it way more than I'd imagined I would. And the icing on the cake is that, so far, there have been no ads! Great work!!
Fun intro to investment terms I kind of knew but not really. The succinct descriptions of concepts is amazing. Sums up the definition of a term in a clear sentence, and the follows up with a real life example, and ends with a 'what you should know about it' to solidify what you've just learned. Saving cards or definitions helps for future recall. Only thing is swiping back still goes forward? Edit: nm, nice gesture :') down swipe brings back previous card, other directions flick it off the deck
Was looking to invest a little in some stocks but found trawling through the internet for basic information confusing. This app covers everything you need to know in one place, simplistically and cuts through jargon. There are quizes after each lesson so that you know what you need to brush up on. Fabulous app for those new to trading. Can't wait to learn more. A +++
I love this app. When I first heard of financial trading seemed like such a huge concept, but when I saw this app I immediately changed my mind. Thank goodness I found it. The only thing I'd like changed is that to read the cards, you have to pull them up and those highlitable thingies now don't highlight... But that's an extremely minor issue. Thumbs and toes up lol.
Clean, user friendly experience which sets an excellent base which you continue to build on. Would highly recommend for those who know very little about investing and want to learn more, and even those (like myself) who have a basic knowledge and want to expand on what they already know. I also love the little quizzes at the end of each section - forces you to pay attention!
My favourite feature of this app is that you can favourite some terms. I am very bad at learning new words so this feature helps me a lot. Though, I have a suggestion. In quizzes, if you answer a question incorrectly, it skips too fast that you cannot even think on "why" and learn from it. Passing to new questions could be by swapping, manually. Thank you for the app.
This app seriously focusses well on learning for beginners. Lots of jargon is explained very simply, examples are given, things are repeated sometimes so it stays in your head easier and after some information you get a short quiz about what you read. Its structured well and easy to look back at things. I wish more educational stuff was made like this.
